US Dreams

Finally I arrived in Athen, US on August 1st 2008, with lots of hopes and aspirations!!! Have heard and seen this place only in movies,internet. But now I was witnessing it with my own eyes!!! My flight was through Chicago. Immediately after landing there my eyes started capturing the views around me. I was desperate to capture everything within that fraction second of my eyes flipping..."This looks like India..we have this in india as well....wow this is really good"...were some of my thoughts that were going inside my mind...I was trying to compare each and everything just to satisfy myself that it was worth coming here thousands of miles away from home...I was a bit nervous too..new place,new set of people..but I guess we derive the pleasure from discovering something new in life...n I could feel the mixture of earnestness and fear in me...

I took a flight for Atlanta from Chicago and reached Atlanta on time...so I was nearing my destination and the excitement was getting high...in few hours I will be able 2 c the place where I need to spend next 2 years of my education..feels great ...i'll be a part of a US school...
Well finally I took a shuttle from Atlanta airport and reached Athens. On the way saw Georgia tech. was pleased to see an Ivy league school abt whom have only heard and read but never seen. At last i reached my destination and till now its been great here...though I must use the phrase "So far so good" as no one has seen the future....but I hope I will have enough motivation in future as well to write abt this place and school....
